In Genesis 1:2 the earth was in a desperate and terrible state of disorder, waste and darkness due to the influence of Satan and the kingdom of darkness. In Genesis 1:3, God's solution to the problem on the earth is to speak and bring light into the darkness. Jordan explains how this scripture points us to Jesus who came into this earth as both the "word" of God and the "light" of the world.

In this episode Jordan continues the Genesis 1 bible study and focuses on verse 2. If God made creation to be a visible expression of his own character and nature, then why was the earth in a state of being formless, void and covered in darkness? Jordan explains that this may very likely be pointing to the fall of Lucifer and his angels.
